Carolina's miraculous recovery
I know that you believe in miracles, so I would like to share a few with you regarding our little Carolina.
1. As you remember Carolina's doctors had told us to say our goodbyes as the 3 surgeons were 100% certain that she would die on the operating table due to the complexity of the operation and the artery that was enveloped inside of the largest tumor. When the opened her skull they were shocked to discover that the tumors were black and dead, unlike the last CAT scan they performed 5 days before. Carolina survived the operation with a miracle, praise the Lord.
2. Next, her doctors came and said that in all of their combined medical years, they had never performed such an incredible operation. They mentioned the peace and harmony inside the operating room and their was not even one disagreement between them. The lead surgeon said his hand had never before handled the scalpel with such precision. During the 8 hour operation they were happy and laughing. When we told them that not only were thousands of people around the world praying for Carolina's life, but that they the doctors be blessed by the Holy Spirit's presence and God himself perform the operation. The doctors all took one step back in shock.
3. Carolina has been recovering at lightning speed. The doctors said she would be in hospital recovery room and physical therapy for one month. Well, the first day after the surgery she opened her eyes and said "Mommy". The next day she was already speaking perfectly and awake. Only 5 days after the operation the doctors let her come home to us in the orphanage. The doctors say it is a miracle that she can walk, talk, eat and do everything perfectly. Praise the Lord. The picture above is from Saturday afternoon inside the orphanage. She has her hair short on top, shaved in the back and and 5 inch long scar with stiches. But she fells so good that she was even playing with my son and hugging everyone.
Thank you Jesus for saving her life. I must mention that Carolina still needs your prayers. The doctors couldn't remove all of the tumor and want to operate again in November.
